1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
4. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
5. Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and sun-dried tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.
6. Return chicken to skillet and spoon some sauce over each piece.
7. Transfer skillet to preheated oven and bake until chicken is cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
