Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken breasts boneless, skinless
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup chicken broth
  • ½ cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ cup sun-dried tomatoes chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. 2. Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
  3. 3. In a large oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Add chicken and sear until golden, about 4-5 minutes per side. Remove chicken from skillet and set aside.
  4. 4. In the same skillet, add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 1 minute.
  5. 5. Stir in heavy cream, chicken broth, Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes, Italian seasoning, and sun-dried tomatoes. Bring to a simmer.
  6. 6. Return chicken to skillet and spoon some sauce over each piece.
  7. 7. Transfer skillet to preheated oven and bake until chicken is cooked through, about 15-20 minutes.
  8. 8. Serve hot, garnished with fresh basil if desired.
