Ingredients 

Marinade

  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Lemon Juice freshly squeezed
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Oregano dried
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground

Chicken

  • 500 g Chicken Breast boneless, skinless, cut into strips

Sandwich

  • 4 pieces Pita Bread
  • 1 cup Lettuce shredded
  • 1 cup Tomato diced
  • 0.5 cup Cucumber sliced
  • 0.5 cup Red Onion thinly sliced
  • 0.5 cup Tzatziki Sauce

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper to make the marinade.
  2. 2. Add the chicken strips to the marinade, mix well, and let it sit for at least 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Heat a grill pan over medium-high heat. Grill the marinated chicken strips for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until fully cooked.
  4. 4. Warm the pita bread on the grill pan for about 1-2 minutes on each side.
  5. 5. Assemble the sandwich by placing grilled chicken strips, shredded lettuce, diced tomato, sliced cucumber, and thinly sliced red onion inside the pita bread. Add a dollop of tzatziki sauce.
  6. 6. Serve immediately and enjoy!
