Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup Rice uncooked
  • 1 can Black Beans drained and rinsed
  • 1 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Cumin
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the chopped onion and minced garlic, and sauté until softened.
  3. 3. Stir in the cumin and salt, and cook for another minute.
  4. 4. Add the rice and water, bring to a boil, then reduce heat to low and cover. Cook for 20 minutes or until rice is tender.
  5. 5. Stir in the black beans and cook until heated through.
  6. 6. Serve hot and enjoy!
