Ingredients

  • 1 head Lettuce torn into bite-sized pieces
  • 4 slices Bacon chopped
  • 0.25 cup White Vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon Salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 small Onion thinly sliced

Instructions 

  1. Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crisp. Remove bacon and set aside, leaving the drippings in the skillet.
  2. Add vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper to the skillet. Stir until sugar is dissolved and mixture is heated through.
  3. Place lettuce and onion in a large bowl. Pour the hot dressing over the lettuce and onion, and toss to coat.
  4. Sprinkle bacon on top and serve immediately.
