Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
  • ½ cup breadcrumbs
  • ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cumin
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a food processor, pulse the black beans until mostly smooth.
  2. 2. Transfer the beans to a bowl and add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until browned and heated through.
