Main Ingredients
- 1 can black beans, drained and rinsed
- ½ cup breadcrumbs
- ¼ cup onion, finely chopped
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon chili powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoon olive oil for cooking
1. In a food processor, pulse the black beans until mostly smooth.
2. Transfer the beans to a bowl and add breadcrumbs, onion, garlic, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until browned and heated through.
