- 2 lbs Tri-Tip Roast
- 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
Rub the tri-tip roast with olive oil, then season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
Place the roast in a roasting pan.
Roast in the preheated oven for 30 minutes, then reduce the temperature to 350°F (175°C) and continue cooking for another 30 minutes or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
Remove from the oven and let rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
