Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 can cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag frozen tater tots
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
  3. Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. In a large bowl, mix together the cooked beef and onions, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  5. Spread the mixture into a baking dish. Top with an even layer of tater tots.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top.
  7. Return to oven and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  8. Let cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
