Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 4 large green peppers
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 cup cooked rice
  • 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 clove garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Cut tops off peppers and remove seeds.
  3. In a skillet, cook beef, onion, and garlic until beef is browned.
  4. Stir in cooked rice, tomato sauce, salt, and pepper.
  5. Stuff peppers with beef mixture and place in a baking dish.
  6. Cover with foil and bake for 35 minutes.
  7. Remove foil, sprinkle with cheese, and bake for another 10 minutes.
