Stuffed Cabbage Rolls Recipe

- 1 large cabbage core removed
- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 cup cooked rice
- 1 large onion finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic minced
- 1 can tomato sauce 15 oz
- 1 can diced tomatoes 15 oz
- 1 teaspoon salt
- ½ teaspoon black pepper
- 1 teaspoon paprika
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Add the cabbage and cook for 2-3 minutes until leaves are softened. Remove and set aside.
3. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, chopped onion, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and paprika.
4. Place a heaping tablespoon of the meat mixture onto each cabbage leaf. Roll up, tucking in the sides to secure.
5. In a baking dish, spread a thin layer of tomato sauce. Place the cabbage rolls seam-side down in the dish. Pour remaining tomato sauce and diced tomatoes over the rolls.
6. Cover with foil and bake for 1.5 hours, until cabbage is tender and meat is cooked through.
