Instructions 

  1. Combine strawberries, sugar, and lemon juice in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and bring to a boil.
  3. Reduce heat and simmer for 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. Remove from heat and let cool. Transfer to a jar and refrigerate.
