Main Ingredients
- 2 cups Cooked sushi rice
- 1 can Spam sliced into 8 pieces
- 4 sheets Nori (seaweed) cut in half
- ¼ cup Soy sauce
- ¼ cup Sugar
- 2 tablespoons Mirin
1. Cook the sushi rice according to the package instructions.
2. In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, sugar, and mirin until the sugar is dissolved.
3. Fry the Spam slices in a pan over medium heat until crispy on both sides. Add the soy sauce mixture and cook until the Spam is caramelized.
4. Place a piece of nori on a flat surface. Use a musubi mold to shape the rice into a block and place it on the nori. Top with a slice of Spam.
5. Wrap the nori around the rice and Spam, sealing with a bit of water if needed.
6. Repeat with the remaining ingredients. Serve warm or at room temperature.
