Ingredients

  • 4 pieces chicken thighs
  • ½ cup soy sauce
  • ¼ cup water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch piece ginger, sliced
  • 2 pieces green onions, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil

Instructions 

  1. Mix soy sauce, water, brown sugar, garlic, ginger, and sesame oil in a bowl.
  2. Place chicken thighs in a pot and pour the mixture over them.
  3. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 40 minutes.
  4. Garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
