  • 1 lb chicken livers
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon paprika
  • as needed Oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. Rinse and pat dry the chicken livers.
  2. Soak livers in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
  5. Dredge livers in the flour mixture.
  6. Fry livers in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  7. Drain on paper towels.
