- 1 lb chicken livers
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
- 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
- 0.5 teaspoon paprika
- as needed Oil for frying
Rinse and pat dry the chicken livers.
Soak livers in buttermilk for at least 30 minutes.
In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
Heat oil in a skillet over medium heat.
Dredge livers in the flour mixture.
Fry livers in batches until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
Drain on paper towels.
