- 5 pounds Beef brisket trimmed
- 2 tablespoon Kosher salt
- 2 tablespoon Black pepper coarsely ground
- 1 tablespoon Garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon Onion powder
1. Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C).
2. Mix together the salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.
3. Rub the spice mixture all over the brisket.
4. Place the brisket in the smoker, fat side up.
5. Smoke the brisket until it reaches an internal temperature of 195°F (90°C), about 10 hours.
6. Remove the brisket from the smoker and let it rest for at least 30 minutes before slicing.
