Shepherds Pie Recipe
A classic comfort food dish made with ground meat and mashed potatoes.

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ground beef or lamb
- 1 Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 cups Mixed vegetables (peas, carrots, corn)
- 2 tablespoon Tomato paste
- 1 cup Beef broth
- 4 cups Mashed potatoes
- to taste Salt and pepper
Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C).
In a skillet, cook ground meat until browned. Add chopped onion and minced garlic, cook until softened.
Stir in mixed vegetables, tomato paste, and beef broth. Simmer for 10 minutes.
Transfer meat mixture to a baking dish. Spread mashed potatoes on top.
Bake in preheated oven for 20 minutes or until top is golden brown.
