Ingredients

  • 1 cup Crab meat fresh or canned
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • ¼ cup Butter
  • ¼ cup Flour
  • 1 tablespoon Sherry
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. Melt the butter in a large pot over medium heat.
  2. Add the flour and whisk to form a roux. Cook for 2-3 minutes.
  3. Gradually add the milk and heavy cream, whisking constantly until smooth.
  4. Add the crab meat, sherry, salt, and pepper. Stir well.
  5. Simmer for 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Serve hot, garnished with additional crab meat if desired.
