Ingredients 

Salmon Burgers

  • 1 lb salmon fillet skinless, chopped
  • ¼ cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoon mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper

Lemon Basil Mayo

  • ½ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • 1 tablespoon basil chopped

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your grill to medium-high heat.
  2. 2. In a mixing bowl, combine the chopped salmon, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, 2 tablespoon mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, salt, and black pepper. Mix well.
  3. 3. Form the mixture into 4 patties.
  4. 4. Grill the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until fully cooked.
  5. 5. In a small bowl, mix together ½ cup mayonnaise, 1 tablespoon lemon juice, and chopped basil to make the lemon basil mayo.
  6. 6. Serve the salmon burgers on buns with a generous dollop of lemon basil mayo on top.
