Main Ingredients
- 1 cup Butter softened
- 1 cup Sugar
- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
- 2.5 cups All-Purpose Flour
- 1 unit Egg
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until smooth.
Beat in the egg and vanilla extract.
In another bowl, combine the flour and baking powder. Gradually add to the wet mixture.
Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about ¼ inch thickness. Cut into shapes with cookie cutters.
Place cookies 1 inch apart on ungreased baking sheets.
Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until edges are lightly browned. Cool on wire racks.
