Ingredients

  • 1 whole Duck about 5-6 pounds
  • 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
  • 1 tablespoon Honey
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Rinse the duck and pat it dry with paper towels. Remove any excess fat.
  3. Mix soy sauce, honey, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
  4. Brush the mixture all over the duck, inside and out.
  5. Place the duck on a roasting pan and roast for about 2 hours, basting occasionally.
  6. Check the internal temperature; it should reach 165°F (74°C).
  7. Let the duck rest for 15 minutes before carving.
