Ingredients

  • 1 unit Rib Eye Roast (about 5 pounds)
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 tablespoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 4 cloves Garlic (minced)
  • 2 tablespoon Fresh Rosemary (chopped)

Instructions 

  1. Preheat your oven to 450°F (230°C).
  2. Rub the rib eye roast with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic, and rosemary.
  3. Place the roast in a roasting pan.
  4. Roast in the preheated oven for 15 minutes.
  5. Reduce the oven temperature to 325°F (165°C) and continue roasting for about 75 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 135°F (57°C) for medium-rare.
  6. Remove the roast from the oven and let it rest for 15-20 minutes before slicing.
