  • 2 tablespoons All-purpose flour
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 cups Sharp cheddar cheese, grated
  • 4 slices Bread, toasted

Instructions 

  1. Melt butter in a saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in flour and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  3. Gradually add milk, whisking constantly until smooth and thickened.
  4. Stir in mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
  5. Remove from heat and stir in grated cheese until melted and smooth.
  6. Pour cheese sauce over toasted bread slices and serve immediately.
