  • 1 lb Porterhouse Steak about 1 inch thick
  • 2 tablespoon Olive Oil
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper freshly ground
  • 2 cloves Garlic smashed
  • 2 sprigs Rosemary

Instructions 

  1. 1. Preheat your cast iron skillet over high heat.
  2. 2. Rub the steak with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.
  3. 3. Place the steak in the skillet and sear for 3-4 minutes on each side.
  4. 4. Add garlic and rosemary to the skillet and baste the steak with the juices.
  5. 5. Cook until the steak reaches your desired doneness. Use a meat thermometer to check.
