Ingredients 

Meatballs

  • 1 lb Ground Beef
  • ½ cup Uncooked Rice
  • 1 Egg beaten
  • ¼ cup Onion finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper

Sauce

  • 1 can Tomato Sauce (15 oz)
  • 1 cup Water
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, uncooked rice, beaten egg, chopped onion, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Shape the mixture into meatballs, about 1 inch in diameter.
  3. In a large skillet, heat a bit of oil over medium heat. Add the meatballs and brown on all sides.
  4. In a bowl, mix tomato sauce, water, and Worcestershire sauce. Pour over the meatballs.
  5. Bring to a simmer, cover, and cook for 45 minutes, until meatballs are cooked through and rice is tender.
