Instructions
In a large pot, melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and cook until translucent.
Add milk and cream, stirring occasionally until heated through.
Add oysters with their liquor. Cook until oysters are plump and edges begin to curl.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve hot.
