Ingredients 

Chicken and Marinade

  • 4 pieces Chicken Thighs
  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 1 tablespoon Hot Sauce

Breading

  • 2 cups All-purpose Flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Hot Oil

  • 1 cup Vegetable Oil
  • 2 tablespoon Cayenne Pepper
  • 1 tablespoon Brown Sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Paprika

Instructions 

  1. 1. Marinate the chicken in buttermilk and hot sauce for at least 2 hours.
  2. 2. Mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika in a bowl.
  3. 3. Dredge marinated chicken in the flour mixture.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a deep fryer to 350°F.
  5. 5. Fry chicken until golden brown and crispy, about 15 minutes.
  6. 6. In a separate pan, heat 1 cup of oil and add cayenne pepper, brown sugar, garlic powder, and paprika. Stir well.
  7. 7. Brush the hot oil mixture over the fried chicken.
  8. 8. Serve hot and enjoy!
