  • 2 slices Bread use your favorite type
  • 1 cup Milk whole or any type you prefer
  • 1 tablespoon Butter optional
  • 1 tablespoon Sugar to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Cinnamon optional

Instructions 

  1. Toast the bread slices until golden brown.
  2. In a saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until warm but not boiling.
  3. Add butter and sugar to the milk, stirring until dissolved.
  4. Place the toasted bread in a bowl and pour the warm milk mixture over it.
  5. Sprinkle with cinnamon if desired and serve immediately.
