  • 1 pinch Salt to taste
  • 1 pinch Pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Butter optional

Instructions 

  1. 1. Wash the potato thoroughly and pat it dry.
  2. 2. Pierce the potato several times with a fork.
  3. 3. Place the potato on a microwave-safe plate.
  4. 4. Microwave on high for 5 minutes. Turn the potato over and microwave for another 5 minutes.
  5. 5. Check if the potato is tender. If not, microwave in 1-minute increments until done.
  6. 6. Let it cool for a minute, then cut it open and add salt, pepper, and butter if desired.
