- 2 cups white American cheese, shredded
- 1 cup half and half
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1 pinch salt
1. In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.
2. Add the half and half and heat until warm, but not boiling.
3. Gradually add the shredded white American cheese, stirring constantly until melted and smooth.
4. Stir in the garlic powder, onion powder, cumin, chili powder, and salt.
5. Continue to cook, stirring frequently, until the dip is thick and creamy.
6. Serve warm with tortilla chips.
