Ingredients

  • 1 lb linguine
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1 cup dry white wine
  • 2 lbs fresh clams, scrubbed
  • ¼ cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • to taste salt and pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook linguine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add garlic and red pepper flakes, sauté until fragrant.
  3. 3. Pour in white wine, bring to a simmer. Add clams, cover, and cook until clams open, about 5-7 minutes.
  4. 4. Discard any clams that do not open. Add cooked linguine to the skillet, toss to coat with sauce.
  5. 5. Sprinkle with chopped parsley, season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve immediately.
