Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • ½ cup Unsalted Butter plus extra for greasing
  • 4 oz Semisweet Chocolate chopped
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 2 Egg Yolks
  • ¼ cup Granulated Sugar
  • 1 pinch Salt
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose Flour

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 450°F (230°C). Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour.
  2. Melt butter and chocolate in a double boiler or microwave, stirring until smooth.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together eggs, egg yolks, sugar, and salt until thickened and pale.
  4. Fold melted chocolate mixture into the egg mixture. Sift flour over the batter and gently fold in.
  5. Divide batter evenly among ramekins. Place ramekins on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until edges are set but centers are still soft.
  6. Let cakes cool in ramekins for 1 minute, then run a knife around the edges to loosen. Invert onto plates and serve immediately.
