Ham and Bean Soup Recipe

Main Ingredients
- 1 lb Ham diced
- 1 cup Dried Beans soaked overnight
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 2 carrots Carrots sliced
- 2 stalks Celery sliced
- 8 cups Chicken Broth
- 1 teaspoon Thyme dried
- 1 teaspoon Salt or to taste
- ½ teaspoon Black Pepper ground
1. In a large pot, sauté the onion and garlic until fragrant.
2. Add the carrots and celery, cook for a few minutes.
3. Stir in the diced ham and soaked beans.
4. Pour in the chicken broth, add thyme, salt, and pepper.
5. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for about 2 hours or until beans are tender.
6. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
