  • 2 cups water
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, sliced
  • 1 inch fresh turmeric, sliced
  • 1 tablespoon honey (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional)

Instructions 

  1. Bring water to a boil in a small pot.
  2. Add ginger and turmeric slices.
  3. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  4. Strain the tea into cups.
  5. Add honey and lemon juice if desired.
