  • 12 oz fettuccine pasta
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions 

  1. 1. Cook the fettuccine according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  2. 2. In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter and add the minced garlic. Cook for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. 3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  4. 4. Add the grated Parmesan cheese and stir until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. 5. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. 6. Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss to coat the pasta in the sauce.
  7. 7. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately.
