- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 1 loaf French bread, sliced
- ¼ cup brown sugar for topping
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a mixing bowl, whisk together the heavy cream, whole milk, eggs, vanilla extract, and granulated sugar until well combined.
Arrange the French bread slices in a baking dish.
Pour the cream mixture over the bread slices, ensuring they are well soaked.
Sprinkle the brown sugar evenly over the top of the soaked bread slices.
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the top is golden and caramelized.
