Ingredients

  • 2 cups Cooked Chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Carrots, diced
  • 1 cup Celery, diced
  • 1 cup Onion, diced
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • 2 tablespoon All-purpose Flour
  • to taste Salt and Pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, melt the butter over medium heat.
  2. 2. Add the diced onions, carrots, and celery. Cook until softened, about 5-7 minutes.
  3. 3. Stir in the flour and cook for another 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Gradually add the chicken broth, stirring constantly to avoid lumps.
  5. 5. Bring to a boil, then reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10 minutes.
  6. 6. Add the shredded chicken and heavy cream. Cook for another 5 minutes.
  7. 7. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot.
