Ingredients

  • 1 head Broccoli chopped
  • 1 medium Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 2 cups Chicken broth
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 2 tablespoon Butter
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Black pepper

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a pot, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and garlic, and sauté until softened.
  2. 2. Add the chopped broccoli and chicken broth. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer until the broccoli is tender, about 15 minutes.
  3. 3. Use a blender to puree the soup until smooth. Return the soup to the pot.
  4. 4. Stir in the heavy cream and season with salt and black pepper to taste. Heat through, but do not boil.
  5. 5. Serve hot and enjoy!
