Ingredients 

Crab Cakes

  • 1 lb crab meat lump or backfin
  • 1 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 2 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 2 tablespoon lemon juice freshly squeezed
  • to taste salt and pepper
  • 2 tablespoon butter for frying
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine crab meat, breadcrumbs, beaten egg, mayonnaise, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, parsley, lemon juice, salt, and pepper. Mix until well combined.
  2. Shape the mixture into 8 patties.
  3. In a skillet, heat butter and olive oil over medium heat.
  4. Cook the crab cakes for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
