Main Ingredients
- 1 kg Chicken, cut into serving pieces
- 1 piece Green papaya, sliced
- 2 cups Chili leaves
- 1 piece Onion, chopped
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons Ginger, julienned
- 4 cups Water
- 1 tablespoon Fish sauce
- to taste Salt and pepper
1. In a pot, heat some oil and sauté the garlic, onion, and ginger.
2. Add the chicken pieces and cook until they turn white.
3. Pour in the water and bring to a boil. Simmer for about 30 minutes or until the chicken is tender.
4. Add the green papaya and cook until it becomes tender.
5. Season with fish sauce, salt, and pepper to taste.
6. Add the chili leaves and cook for another 2 minutes.
7. Serve hot with rice.
