Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 whole Chicken cut into pieces
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth
  • 2 pcs Carrots sliced
  • 2 pcs Celery Stalks sliced
  • 1 pc Onion chopped
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • ½ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Thyme
  • 1 pc Bay Leaf

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, add the chicken and cover with water. Bring to a boil and then reduce to a simmer.
  2. 2. Skim off any foam that rises to the top. Add the chicken broth, carrots, celery, onion, garlic, salt, pepper, thyme, and bay leaf.
  3. 3. Simmer for about 45 minutes or until the chicken is cooked through and the vegetables are tender.
  4. 4. Remove the chicken pieces, shred the meat, and return it to the pot. Discard the bay leaf.
  5. 5. Adjust seasoning if needed and serve hot.
