Filling

  • 2 cups Cooked chicken, shredded
  • 1 cup Frozen peas and carrots
  • cup Butter
  • cup All-purpose flour
  • ½ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black pepper
  • ¼ teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 ¾ cups Chicken broth
  • cup Milk

Crust

  • 2 sheets Pie crusts store-bought or homemade

Instructions

  2. In a saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour, salt, pepper, and onion powder until well blended.

  4. Stir in the shredded chicken and frozen peas and carrots. Remove from heat.
  5. Place one pie crust in the bottom of a pie dish. Pour the chicken mixture into the crust.
  6. Cover with the second pie crust, seal the edges, and cut several small slits in the top to allow steam to escape.
