Chicken Paprikash Recipe
A classic Hungarian dish made with chicken, paprika, and a creamy sauce.

Main Ingredients
- 2 tablespoon Olive oil
- 1 large Onion chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic minced
- 1 kg Chicken thighs bone-in, skinless
- 3 tablespoon Paprika
- 1 cup Chicken broth
- 1 cup Sour cream
- to taste Salt and pepper
- 2 tablespoon Flour optional, for thickening
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add chopped onion and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes.
Add minced garlic and cook for another minute.
Season chicken thighs with salt and pepper, then add to the skillet. Cook until browned on all sides.
Stir in paprika and cook for another minute.
Add chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Cover and cook for 30 minutes, or until chicken is cooked through.
In a small bowl, mix sour cream and flour (if using). Stir into the skillet and cook until the sauce has thickened.
Serve hot over noodles or rice.
