Ingredients 

Steak and Breading

  • 4 pieces Cube steak tenderized
  • 2 cups All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 2 cups Buttermilk
  • 2 large Eggs
  • 1 cup Vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a shallow bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  2. 2. In another bowl, whisk together buttermilk and eggs.
  3. 3. Dredge each steak in the flour mixture, then dip in the buttermilk mixture, and dredge again in the flour mixture.
  4. 4. Heat oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Fry steaks until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes per side.
  5. 5. Drain on paper towels and serve hot.
