Chai Tea Latte

Ingredients 

  • 2 cups water
  • 4 pieces cardamom pods crushed
  • 2 sticks cinnamon
  • 4 pieces cloves
  • 1 piece star anise
  • 1 inch ginger sliced
  • 2 tablespoons black tea leaves
  • 2 cups milk
  • 2 tablespoons sugar or to taste

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a saucepan, bring water to a boil.
  2. 2. Add cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, star anise, and ginger. Boil for 5 minutes.
  3. 3. Add black tea leaves and boil for another 2 minutes.
  4. 4. Add milk and sugar. Simmer for 3 minutes.
  5. 5. Strain the tea into cups and serve hot.
