Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 2 lbs Beef shank cut into chunks
  • 1 cup Carrots sliced
  • 1 cup Potatoes diced
  • 1 cup Corn cut into chunks
  • 1 cup Cabbage chopped
  • 1 medium Onion quartered
  • 2 cloves Garlic minced
  • 1 bunch Cilantro chopped
  • 2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 8 cups Water

Instructions 

  1. 1. In a large pot, add beef shank and water. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 1 hour.
  2. 2. Skim off any foam that forms on the surface.
  3. 3. Add onions, garlic, salt, and pepper. Simmer for another 30 minutes.
  4. 4. Add carrots, potatoes, corn, and cabbage. Cook until vegetables are tender, about 30 minutes.
  5. 5. Stir in chopped cilantro before serving.
