Ingredients 

Main Ingredients

  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 large egg beaten
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1 cup fresh blueberries

Instructions 

  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, mix the buttermilk, beaten egg, and melted butter.
  3. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
  4. Gently fold in the blueberries.
  5. Heat a griddle or frying pan over medium heat and lightly grease it. Pour ¼ cup of batter for each pancake onto the griddle.
  6. Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancakes and the edges look set, about 2-3 minutes. Flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Serve warm with your favorite toppings.
