Ingredients

  • 6 apples, peeled, cored, and sliced
  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ¼ cup raisins
  • ¼ cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 package phyllo dough thawed
  • ½ cup butter melted

Instructions 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine apples, sugar, cinnamon, raisins, and walnuts.
  3. Lay out a sheet of phyllo dough and brush with melted butter. Repeat with 5 more sheets.
  4. Spread the apple mixture along one edge of the dough, leaving a border.
  5. Roll up the dough, tucking in the edges. Place on a baking sheet and brush with more butter.
  6. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until golden brown. Let cool before slicing.
