Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 2 eggs beaten
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 apples peeled, cored, and chopped
  • as needed vegetable oil for frying

Instructions 

  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, combine beaten eggs and milk. Pour into the dry ingredients and mix until just combined.
  3. Fold in the chopped apples.
  4. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat. Drop spoonfuls of batter into the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  5. Drain on paper towels and serve warm.
